Eisen Podcast to be Televised Starting Thursday

By Cam Martin

The Rich Eisen Podcast on the NFL Network will be televised starting Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET, offering us a window on a world that probably doesn’t need windows.

“Putting the podcast on television is a natural extension of the show, and will either bring the program to a wider audience to enjoy or offer me a larger platform on which to flame out spectacularly,” said Eisen.

Eisen’s weekly podcast features guests from the worlds of sports and entertainment. For the television premiere, Eisen will be talking with Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward, who recently won Dancing with the Stars and who was recently arrested (and quickly released) when police in Hollywood, California, pulled him over for driving a car that had been reported stolen — reported stolen by the woman in the passenger seat.

Weeks earlier she had forgotten where she parked her car, assumed it was stolen, called police to report the “theft,” found her car, and then forgot to call back police to amend the record. Hopefully Eisen will ask Ward if the NFL lockout is causing more players to associate with morons.
