East Meets West on FBN

As FishbowlLA points out, the WGA strike is almost over after a deal was reached on Saturday. Two of the key players were live together this afternoon on Fox Business Network. In their first on camera appearance together since the deal was struck Patric Verrone, President of the WGA West and Michael Winship, President of the WGA East, were interviewed by David Asman and Liz Claman.

“The key sticking point was the preservation of the future of the Internet and the writers’ share in it,” said Verrone. “Your CEO, Peter Chernin, and the CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, came into the picture, along with Les Moonves of CBS, behind the scenes to help us work out some of the details.”
