Good Morning America now has something in common with Cirque Du Soliel. They were both honored by the New York City Drone Film Festival this weekend for superior cinematography via a drone.
GMA won the News & Documentary award for “Hidden Worlds: Son Doong Cave” as Ginger Zee and her team explored the caves in central Vietnam. GMA went one more and actually did the report live during the week of May 11, 2015.
This was the second annual event, and films were submitted from over 45 different countries.
