Done With Debates…For Now

Thursday’s Presidential debate on Fox News Channel will likely be the last of 2007. The Boston Globe reports that a Democratic face-off planned for next Monday has been canceled. The debate was to be held at the JFK Presidential Library and Museum and broadcast on CNN. “Due to the early scheduling of the Iowa caucuses organizers decided to cancel the December 17th debate,” CNN said in a statement.

FNC will carry a live feed of debates in Iowa this Wednesday (GOP) and Thursday (Democrats). There have been 18 primary debates so far this election cycle on the broadcast and cable news networks.

>Update: CNN will also be taking the feed of the two 90 minute debates Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer will begin immediately following the debates at 3:30pmET.
