Donald Trump Would ‘Certainly’ Call Bill Clinton for Advice

In his first TV interview, airing tomorrow night on 60 Minutes, Pres.-elect Donald Trump tells Lesley Stahl about the concession phone call he got from Hillary Clinton early Wednesday morning and the follow-up phone call he got from former Pres. Bill Clinton on Thursday. “He couldn’t have been more gracious. He said it was an amazing run. One of the most amazing he’s ever seen. He was very, very, really, very nice,” said Trump.

Trump also says he’s planning to keep two key parts of the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare: That people with pre-conditions will still be covered. “Also, with the children living with their parents for an extended period, we’re going to very much try and keep that,” Trump says. “It adds cost, but it’s very much something we’re going to try and keep.”
