Donald Trump has promised to tell the “real story” of Morning Joe co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, who Trump called “two clowns” in a pair of barbed messages on Twitter Monday morning.
“Tried watching low-rated @Morning_Joe this morning, unwatchable! @morningmika is off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess,” Trump wrote.
His next message sounded something like a threat:
Some day, when things calm down, I'll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend, @morningmika. Two clowns!

Scarborough fired back, and noted that while Trump may call Morning Joe “low-rated,” Nielsen does not:
Neurotic and not very bright?

Hillary Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri suggested–in a message re-tweeted by Brzezinski–that a new web ad may have irritated Trump. The ad was discussed in detail on Morning Joe Monday:
Seems like someone is unnerved by our new ad, premiered on https://t.co/c6GzL89qIb https://t.co/QHCp5CWl5g

CONSIDER THIS – Hillary Clinton today announced an $80m ad buy in key states. Donald Trump is tweeting about morning cable television.
