In his post-debate interviews last night, and again this morning on Morning Joe, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump called the debate on Fox Business Network “elegant.”
“I thought the moderators were fantastic. You go from that to what we had a few weeks ago which wasn’t good talking about football, fantasy football,” said Trump to Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski who took their show to New Hampshire this morning. He continued:
I thought the three moderators did a fantastic job. Not only really a good job, it was elegant,” “It was an elegant debate. Now I don’t know if that’s going to be as big as it would have been, let’s say No. 1, we had 24, 25 million people and I would think that over a period of time maybe just naturally it goes down but they were terrific moderators last night.
