Back before he was the GOP front-runner for president, before the debates, and before the primaries, real estate magnate Donald Trump sued Univision for $500 million for breach of contract.
The nation’s leading Spanish language network had cut business ties with Trump just days before the then-Trump co-owned Miss USA pageant was to be held because of comments Trump made during his campaign announcement June 16.
Well, it’s all been settled, according to both sides. Here’s the joint statement:
Univision lawyered up and the suit had been making its way through the courts.
Four days after Univision cut ties with Trump in June, NBC followed suit. Trump dropped plans to sue NBC for breach of contract when both sides sold their interest in the pageant business.
Just purchased NBC’s half of The Miss Universe Organization and settled all lawsuits against them. Now own 100% — stay tuned!

The big question: does this mean Univision’s Jorge Ramos will now get his interview with Trump?
