Remember last week when Bill O’Reilly predicted that Howard Kurtz’s appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor” would result in higher ratings for Kurtz’s CNN show “Reliable Sources?”
Well, that didn’t really happen.
While No. 2 in its 11am timeslot (behind Fox News) “Reliable Sources” this past Sunday drew 472,000 total viewers and 152,000 younger viewers. Down from the previous Sunday and also down -24% / -15%, respectively, vs. the show’s Q1 2013 average. Bill O’Reilly can draw in millions of viewers and sell a ton of books, but he’s not the best ratings prognosticator.
