RD: Is being an anchor on the evening news the Mount Olympus of TV journalism? Will you feel that you didn’t get to the top if you don’t do that? Sawyer: No, because there are so many ways to define that mountain. In terms of the powerful opportunity to do what I care about, I have hours of time at night and ten hours a week in the morning. And that’s a kind of pinnacle too. |
