Diane Sawyer Will Interview Mother of Columbine Shooter

ABC News announced today Diane Sawyer will interview Sue Klebold, the mother of Columbine shooter Dylan Klebold for a one-hour primetime special airing in February. It’s the first time Klebold has given a television interview.

The interview, to be part of a special on school shootings and mental health, will deal with issues discussed in Klebold’s memoir, A Mother’s Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy.” Klebold is donating profits from the book to research and charitable foundations with a focus on mental health.
