Diane Sawyer in Afghanistan

ABC’s Diane Sawyer is in Afghanistan where she’ll be anchoring “World News” on Monday and Tuesday. It’s her fifth trip there and her first since 2007.

Sawyer will report the next installment of “Afghanistan: Where Things Stand” and anchor the broadcast from Kabul. She’ll interview General McChrystal and “Good Morning America Weekend” anchor Bill Weir will be embedded with US forces. The two will also file reports for “GMA” and “Nightline.”
