ABC’s Diane Sawyer, trending for a time on Twitter last night for what some are calling oddball behavior during election coverage, has taken to Twitter herself, acknowledging the chatter about her. The night nearly ended early for the entire crew at Times Square Studios when the lights went out just before 11pmET, something Sawyer acknowledged a short time ago on Twitter. Sawyer praised the tech team for keeping them on the air, then added:

That still doesn’t explain the loopy behavior. ABC hasn’t explained it either, other than to say Sawyer was simply exhausted.
