Following up on this post about Donny Deutsch, here’s an Excel spreadsheet that demonstrates The Big Idea’s “lack of success” (and that’s putting it mildly) at 10pm. Here are all the scratches. Other Deutsch items:
> From an insider: “It’s not that hard booking the show. We have plenty of good guests, just like the other blab-fests. But it’s tough to compete on CNBC. People just don’t tune in to the channel during real primetime. Being in NJ isn’t an advantage but we seem to do well.”
> “Just because a program scratches doesn’t mean it isn’t a good show,” an e-mailer says. “I have watched the Big Idea before and actually found Deutsch’s interviews to be quite interesting. Maybe if it wasn’t on CNBC it would do better.”
