Defense Secretary Robert Gates & Adm. Mike Mullen on ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell’

By Molly Stark Dean

Defense Secretary Robert Gates held a press conference today around the top of the 2:00pmET hour to discuss the Pentagon study on gays in the U.S. military, which concluded that overturning the law known as “don’t ask, don’t tell” might cause some disruption at first but would not lead to any long-term issues. All three of the cablers took the defense secretary.
MSNBC and CNN took the speech live with Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, while FNC was in a commercial break.

And what did Fox News go to after the break?
