Deborah Norville Celebrates 20 Years at ‘Inside Edition’

By Chris Ariens

Deborah Norville is celebrating 20 years as anchor of “Inside Edition.” On today’s show, Norville will share some memorable moments of the last 20 years, including when she anchored from the hospital after her daughter was born. “There is never a routine day at ‘Inside Edition,'” Norville says. “You never know who you’ll meet or where in the world you’ll end up.”

Norville, who was the co-anchor of NBC’s “Today” show in 1990-91, took over hosting “Inside Edition” in 1995. She succeeded Bill O’Reilly in the anchor chair. Norville sat down MediabistroTV to talk about her “First Big Break” in TV news, which included a brush with a Jimmy Carter, Sam Donaldson and a “reefer” joint.
