Debates: Hume Moderates “First-In-South”

By Brian

Fox News Channel is preparing for tonight’s “First-in-the-South Republican Party Presidential Candidate debate.”

Brit Hume will moderate; Chris Wallace and Wendell Goler will ask questions. It starts at 9pm on the campus of the University of South Carolina.

“Fox producers have assured the campaigns that tonight’s debate will be more substantive [than MSNBC’s two weeks ago],” The State reports.

Here’s the debate format.
“The debate will be split into five issues segments, with each candidate getting one question in each segment. For example, if one of the segments is about Iraq, each candidate can expect to be quizzed on the war.” And: “Candidates will be given either 30 or 60 seconds to answer.”
