Dean: “Support Here at Work is Amazing”

David Barron writes in the Houston Chronicle today about FNC meteorologist Janice Dean, who last weekend revealed she has Multiple Sclerosis.

Dean has gone to FNC anchor Neil Cavuto for advice. He too, is battling MS. “(Cavuto) told me, ‘Janice, you will be amazed at the support you will receive, but there will be people who look at you differently,'” Dean said in the article. “But that’s OK. I have a blog (at FoxNews.com), and readers have been amazing, and the support here at work is amazing.”

Dean says she is glad to have the support of her husband, a New York City firefighter who she married in 2007. “The great thing he said is that this doesn’t scare him, and that is so important because it can be a tough road,” she said.
