David Stern Doesn't Need Your Stinkin' Dollar

By Marcus Vanderberg

LOS ANGELES – NBA commissioner David Stern held a press conference with the media prior to NBA All-Star Saturday Night, and surprise, most of the questions thrown his direction had to deal with the possible lockout.

I’ll spare you the boring rhetoric from Stern but wanted to highlight the end of the press conference, when the commissioner was asked if he was tempted to drop his salary to a dollar like Roger Goodell in case of a stoppage.

“Well, I would say that last time, I didn’t take a salary,” Stern said. “I think a dollar would be too high in the event of a work stoppage.”

I think Goodell just got owned.
