WCVB (Boston’s ABC affiliate) anchor Ed Harding interviewed “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir at a Boston Chamber of Commerce event. The pair of ABC newsers discussed the relevance of evening news, digital space, Muir’s Boston connection and some of his most memorable reporting moments.
Muir is popular in Boston, with “World News Tonight” finishing number one in total viewers for season to date, fourth quarter, November Sweep and February Sweep in the city. The interview was not filmed, but attendees from the event took to Twitter to capture Muir’s comments. The “World News Tonight” anchor even took a selfie with some fans:
