David Kerley Named ABC Correspondent

“ABC News’ David Kerley was named a general assignment correspondent for the news division, ABC News President David Westin announced today.” In a press release, Westin called Kerley a “skilled and versatile reporter who brings more than twenty years of experience to our news division.”

Kerley is based in D.C. He joined the network in Feb. 2004 as an overnight anchor and reporter for World News Now, World News This Morning, and ABC News Now. He recently reported from Baghdad and traveled with Presidnet Bush. Prior to joining ABC, Mr. Kerley was the primary anchor at WBBM-TV in Chicago.
