Bloom DaughtersAt the Congressional Radio and TV Correspondents dinner last night, David Bloom‘s three daughters presented the annual award memorializing their father, the late NBC News anchor who died while covering the Iraq War in 2003.

And while he’s been gone for over a decade, one of David’s daughters is carrying on her father’s journalism legacy in her own way.

CNN reporter Lisa Desjardins introduced Bloom’s daughters, announcing that one of his twins, Nicole (pictured in the middle of the three), is following in dad’s footsteps: she’s co-anchoring her college’s morning news show while double majoring in performing arts and journalism. Her twin sister, Christine, is an economics double major at her school. The youngest Bloom, Ava, is about to enter high school.
