In an interview on Fox News, Dana Perino said she did not feel she was being used in part of a public relations stunt, but rather, an honest conversation about resolving a problem.

“They definitely don’t think this is a joke, they did not think this meeting was ‘cover your you-know-what’ with conservatives and placate them,” Perino told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly. “I found them to be pretty genuine and sincere…they acknowledge they have a trust problem with a significant portion of their customer base.”

A recent report raised questions about Facebook, suggesting conservative content was routinely suppressed and kept from trending.

Media Research Center president Brent Bozell, who also attended the meeting, said “there has been a serious issue of trust within the conservative movement about this issue, but everyone in that room, on both sides, wants to see it restored.”
