S.E. Cupp, Glenn Beck Among Conservatives to Meet With Mark Zuckerberg

By Mark Joyella

Cable news regulars including CNN’s S.E. Cupp, Fox News Channel’s Dana Perino, and Glenn Beck of The Blaze will be among the conservatives talking to Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg this week, in a meeting called to address charges the social media giant suppresses conservative content.

“I’m going in with an open mind and an eagerness to learn more,” Cupp told CNN. “Conservatives and Silicon Valley actually come down on the same side of many issues and share some common concerns. I’m sure we’ll find plenty to talk about, and I’m honored to have been included.”

The meeting follows a statement Zuckerberg posted on Facebook last Thursday:

This week, there was a report suggesting that Facebook contractors working on Trending Topics suppressed stories with conservative viewpoints. We take this report very seriously and are conducting a full investigation to ensure our teams upheld the integrity of this product.

We have found no evidence that this report is true. If we find anything against our principles, you have my commitment that we will take additional steps to address it.
