CTM Promotes Ryan Kadro to Co-Executive Producer

By Brian Flood

CBS This Morning has promoted senior broadcast producer Ryan Kadro to co-executive producer. According to his LinkedIn page, Kadro got his start at Last Call with Carson Daly back in 2001 and joined CBS in 2010. TVNewser has obtained a memo that CBS News programming vp Chris Licht sent to staffers:

Team:

Since before day one of this broadcast, Ryan Kadro has been on the front lines of building CTM into what it is today.  First, as a senior producer of tape, then a turn at running the 8a and for nearly the past 3 years—by my side as the senior broadcast producer.  He’s never let his foot off the gas, putting his heart and soul into every part of our operation.

He’s been so crucial to getting us this far and today I am pleased to announce Ryan will help lead CTM to the next level of success as co-executive producer of our broadcast.

To many of you he is a mentor and teacher.   To me, he is a trusted partner who each day brings talent, compassion and energy to this team.

This well-deserved promotion formalizes the role Ryan already fills and solidifies his position as we ramp up for 2016 and beyond.  It is also a reflection of the commitment we have to the strategy and leadership that’s led to 38 consecutive months of ratings growth.

Please join me in congratulating Ryan!

Chris
