The news nets are moving reporters and crews from Miami to cover the tornadoes in central Florida.
“Katie Couric was in Miami to anchor the news from the Super Bowl site, but will now be anchoring from Orlando to better cover the Florida storm damage,” an e-mailer says and CBS confirms. Byron Pitts and Sharyn Alfonsi will also report from the scene.
ICN says FNC’s Brian Kilmeade, also in Miami for the Super Bowl, is traveling to the damaged area and will co-anchor Fox & Friends Weekend from there on Saturday.
