Covering The Quake

By Chris Ariens

Last night’s 7.9 earthquake off the coast of Peru had news divisions working up coverage plans into the night. FNC’s Steve Harrigan was on the scene in Lima early this morning.

CNN has been relying on phone interviews from Americans on the scene, while CNN international’s Your World led with story tracked by anchor Jim Clancy.

ABC News tells us David Muir will be covering the quake for World News, while Mark Potter is on the ground for NBC News and MSNBC.
