The name of the new CBS Evening News blog is “Couric & Company.” The network says the blog will “explore the day’s developments through links to exclusive, free video, as well as contributions from CBS News correspondents around the world, and will be updated frequently throughout the day.” CBS says the blog will be edited by 24-year veteran CBS Newser Greg Kandra.
CBS should emphasize the Company, because Couric expects to update the blog just once a week, according to the Baltimore Sun.
“The blog is going to be important to me, but it’s not top of mind right now,” she says. Earlier this week, she joked that blogging and webcasting “are about No. 6 on my to-do list after going to the grocery store…”
