Coulter on NBC: “I Am Very Happy To Be Here”

By SteveK

Bringing this whole potentially manufactured controversy story full circle, Ann Coulter was interviewed by Matt Lauer this morning on the Today show.

“It took the Drudge Report posting that for the Wednesday invitation but I am very happy to be here,” she said.

Again, after NBC canceled Monday and Drudge Report said Coulter was “banned for life,” Coulter went on “Hannity & Colmes” and knocked NBC’s offer, then went on CBS today and finally decided to go on NBC after all.

“Do you think though that much was made of this and maybe you helped fan the fire a little bit to make a controversy to sell the book?” asked Lauer.

She doesn’t really answer — but she does compare herself to Roland Burris.
