CNN’s Anderson Cooper will anchor 360 from Maradi, Niger tonight. “Children are starving to death,” the CNN.com teaser says, and Cooper is there to “put a human face on the hunger crisis.”
“Anderson has a passion for this story,” CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein told TVNewser today, adding that Cooper was on vacation in Africa last month.
This morning, 360 EP David Doss said Cooper had packaged several powerful pieces, including a reporter’s notebook about his 12-hour drive from the airport and a story about several children who are clinging to life.
