Cooper: “I’m Not Much for Giving Advice, That’s Bill O’Reilly’s Job”

By Chris Ariens

CNN’s Anderson Cooper spoke at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York yesterday, he then stayed on campus to anchor AC360. Geoffrey Sorensen, who graduated from Hofstra last year with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science (and is currently looking for a job in TV news), shot 17 videos during Cooper’s visit — both during his speech and during the outside airing of AC360.

In the clip below, during his speech, Cooper talks about the state of cable news: “I’m not much for giving advice, that’s Bill O’Reilly’s job and he does it very well,” he said.
