CNN’s ‘The Next List’ Canceled

CNN’s “The Next List” has been canceled and the show’s EP, Jim McGinnis is departing CNN after 25 years with the network. “The Next List” profiled innovators and visionaries from the worlds of science and technology. Hosted by Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the show was part of CNN’s Saturday afternoon schedule. In his 25 years at CNN, McGinnis rose through the ranks, first as a writer, then producer, assignment manager, EP of special projects and EP of “American Morning.” He also spent 8 years as executive producer of “Lou Dobbs Tonight.”
