CNN’s Brooke Baldwin: ‘This Was The Most Raw, Emotional Interview’

By Brian Flood

CNN’s Brooke Baldwin spoke to survivors and family members who have been personally affected by gun violence at Newseum’s Knight Studio in Washington, D.C. The victims told their individual stories and how they rely on a greater network of over 700 survivors for support. The Loneliest Club: Survivors of Gun Violence Band Together will air today during the 3 p.m. ET hour of CNN Newsroom.

“I’ve been in journalism for 16 years. This was the most raw, emotional interview — with 40 people — I have ever been a part of,” Baldwin told TVNewser. “You can’t not watch.”

In a collaboration between CNN and CNN Digital, personal portraits of the 40 victims that shared their stories with Baldwin will be profiled on CNN.com.
