A breaking story (Minneapolis bridge collapse) at the beginning of the month and a three-part, six-hour documentary (God’s Warriors) at the end helped CNN have, what it calls, its “best month since September 2005 in Monday-Sunday Prime.”

In August, viewers turned to CNN for the breaking news and signature programming, giving the network its best M-Su Prime for the month since Hurricane Katrina in September 2005. (Attachment)

This month Anderson Cooper 360 at 10p had its best deliveries in both P2+ and P25-54 since its time-period launch in November 2005 and Larry King Live at 9p posted its best delivery this month in P2+ since September 2005.

In August, CNN had its greatest reach this year, posting its largest P2+ reach advantage over second-place FNC in four years (September 2003). CNN is watched by more people, on more platforms and in more places than any other network.
