CNN Viewers in China Blocked From Watching Story about Chinese Dissident

By Chris Ariens

CNN viewers in China were blocked from seeing Anderson Cooper’s report on Chen Guangcheng, the blind Chinese activist who escaped house arrest. AC360 airs on CNN International at 8am in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and other parts of the country. But three minutes into this interview, Cooper announced, “China just blocked us out. They just blocked our broadcast on CNN International, right now as we were speaking.”

Here’s the story. Not sure if TVNewser is blocked in China. If you’re there, let us know
