CNN’s investigation into professional wrestling called Death Grip, is coming under fire from the WWE. Last week’s special included an interview with WWE star John Cena. Interestingly, the WWE videotaped the exchange between Cena and CNN. They have posted it on their website. They also posted a clip of the edited version of the interview.
At issue: the use of steroids. Cena was asked if he has ever taken steroids. His answer: “absolutely not.” The WWE claims that answer was left out of the program.
>Update. A statement from CNN: “CNN has reviewed the footage of Mr. Cena and additional video from that interview has been added to the program which aired in replays of the program on Sunday.”
