CNN has ordered a third season of “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.”

The travel docu-series is currently in the midst of season two, where it has been performing very well for CNN, particularly in the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics. While some other acquired programs have done ok, it is the only one so far to have built any sort of dedicated audience.

Season three will air in Spring, 2014 with Brazil, Las Vegas and an African safari on tap as destinations. Brazil will be hosting the 2014 World Cup starting next June.

“We had high expectations for this series when it launched back in April, thanks to Tony and Zero Point Zero Production’s proven track record of success,” said Jeff Zucker, president of CNN Worldwide in a statement. “Yet they keep raising the bar – first with the spectacular series premiere in Myanmar, later in the season with the groundbreaking Libya episode, and then at the start of season two with a sensitive and incredibly informative tour of Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank. ‘Parts Unknown’ is a consistent ratings and critical success and we are so proud to be in partnership with Tony and ZPZ.”
