The success of CNN’s Original Series has resulted in three promotions.
CNN’s Lizzie Kerner is now vp of current programming. Kerner supervises the production of all original series, working closely with CNN’s outside production companies. She reports to CNN Worldwide svp development and acquisitions Vinnie Malhotra.
“Lizzie has played a critical role in the success of CNN Original Series. Her ability to nurture ideas and bring them to fruition has proven invaluable to us and our production partners,” CNN Worldwide evp of content and talent development Amy Entelis told TVNewser.

Jon Adler has been promoted to director of program development and Chanel Carmona has been promoted to associate director of program development. Adler and Carmona will continue to develop relationships with outside companies in their new roles.
