CNN Preps For ‘Heroes’ All-Star Tribute Special

Some CNN staffers are in Los Angeles this weekend ahead of tonight’s “CNN Heroes: An All Star Tribute,” which airs tonight at 8pmET/5pmPT from the Shrine Auditorium. The event will feature “Heroes” from the past five years of the annual CNN special, each interviewed by a celebrity — Jerry Seinfeld, George Lopez, Ice Cube and Mary-Louise Parker, to name a few — and will be hosted by CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

In the past week, a new stage was built by a CNN production team for the event. Watch a time-lapse video of the construction:
