Poppy Harlow has been named the anchor of “CNN Newsroom Weekend” on Saturdays from 3-6pmET and 7-8pmET and Sundays from 5-8pmET. Harlow had been among the fill-in hosts since Don Lemon was moved to primetime back in the Spring of 2014. Now, the gig is Harlow’s on a regular basis.
Harlow is based in New York City and will continue her feature and investigative stories, in addition to her expanded anchor role. She has been with the network since 2008, serving as a variety of roles, including correspondent for CNN and business correspondent on CNN, CNN International and HLN, covering business and economic news.
