The Shorty Awards were handed out last night in New York City. Lost Remote has all the details. TV was well represented, with Fox News and CNN each taking home an award. FNC won for “Best Integration of Social Media with Live Television” during its election night coverage, while CNN won for “Best Use of Social Media for News.” Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” also took home two awards.
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer also participated in the ceremony, delivering “poll results” during the show.
