CNN En Espanol Celebrates 10 Years

CNN en Espanol is marking its 10th anniversary “with a series of initiatives and programming throughout the year highlighting the events and personalities that have made major news in Latin America and throughout the world.”

It starts today at 9pm with “10 Years of CNN en Espanol — Latin America,” hosted by Patricia Janiot. On the net’s actual birthday on Saturday, another special, titled “Latin America and the United States: Politics of Rancor,” will air.

Quoting the press release: “A series of commemorative programming will continue with various specials each month discussing a variety of topics: April – business, May – sports, June – technology, July -entertainment, August – personal finance, September – health and family, October – global business, November – fashion, and December – global news.”
