CNN Digital Unveils ‘CNN Style’

CNN Digital this week launched CNN Style, a new web vertical aimed at “an influential, affluent global user who places great value on a sleek and highly visual presentation.”

Editor George Webster, who says “overly flared, lightly faded denim jeans” make him feel “sad inside” describes CNN Style as a style magazine combined with the global reach of CNN:

We can do things like publish a video from Hong Kong on traditional Chinese dress-making, a multi-media feature from Sydney interviewing a certain Serbian performance artist and an exclusive story about a notorious classic car collection out in the Danish countryside – all on the same day. I think that breadth of coverage is quite rare.
