CNN chief Jon Klein has nixed plans for a business show featuring ‘Apprentice’ runner-up Kwame Jackson. The show “would have featured Jackson interviewing executive bigwigs and pop stars about their careers,” the NY Daily News reports. But Klein decided not to pursue the project.
Some CNNers raised eyebrows at the idea: “They had been miffed by the idea that the network bypassed its own financial reporters to tap a former stockbroker who got the thumbs down from Donald Trump.”
