CNN Cans “90 Second Pop” On A.M.

Michael Learmonth beat me to this one: “CNN is planning to cancel its AM pop culture and entertainment report, ’90 Second Pop,’ as part of its revamp of ‘American Morning,'” Variety reports. The rumors about Toure are true: He’s off AM, along with humorist Andy Borowitz. The move “is part of a broader repositioning of ‘American Morning’ as a newsier alternative to softer shows on network TV.”
