CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker has been in the news a lot recently, telling a group of reporters that it’s “usually bullshit” when morning shows brag about their news and even giving his thoughts on the Brian Williams scandal.
Zucker’s latest remarks come courtesy of The Wrap, where he opens up about CNN’s plans, original programming and redefining news. The CNN boss also discussed his ratings compared to the competition.
Listen, we should only have Fox News’ numbers. We’d be thrilled to have Fox’s numbers, and they deserve a lot of credit. With regards to MSNBC, I can’t speak to why they’ve declined dramatically — we’re just focused on what we’re doing here now.
