CNN Strengthens its Roster of Commentators and Contributors

By A.J. Katz

With a new administration set to take office at the end of the week, CNN is beefing up its roster of political commentators and contributors.

Washington Post reporter David Fahrenthold might be the most notable addition to the CNN team. Fahrenthold, who will receive the title of CNN contributor, was praised in 2016 for his coverage of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, his reporting on the Donald J. Trump Foundation as well as breaking the notorious Access Hollywood tape story last October.

Fahrenthold, like other cable news contributors who work at major newspapers, will continue to work at The Post full-time, but will join the table in daytime and prime time frequently throughout the year.
