CNN Adds Brynn Gingras as Correspondent

CNN has announced the hiring of Brynn Gingras as a correspondent based in the New York bureau. Terence Burke, CNN’s vice president of news gathering made the announcement in an email to staff Tuesday morning.

“She has spent the past four years…reporting a wide range of stories, including her award winning coverage of Hurricane Sandy and the Boston Bombings,” said Burke.

Gingras arrives at CNN from NBC-owned WNBC in New York. She previously worked at stations in Hartford and Columbia, Missouri. She begins at CNN March 7.
