CNBC Opening A Bureau In Sydney

By Brian

“CNBC will open an Australian bureau in coming weeks on the back of a decision to extend its morning Squawkbox show into the Australian market,” The Australian reports.

The bureau will be across the street from the ASX in Sydney.

“We are working so that viewers can follow the money and the markets as they are happening around the world and the first market that opens every day around the world is Sydney,” CNBC president and managing director Asia Pacific Jeremy Pink said. “It will allow viewers from around the world to see how the first market in the world is responding to what the US did overnight…”
