TVNewser has obtained an internal memo from John Kelly SVP of sales for the NBC News networks to the CNBC sales team:

2007/08 broadcast upfront is up nearly 30% year over year…the full year national ad sales will be 25% higher than a year ago. Most importantly, we have received the best client feedback we’ve ever had and this translated into extraordinary top line revenue growth.

As we head into the homestretch of 2007, I want to thank the entire CNBC sales team for a fantastic effort. By every metric, we are knocking the cover off of the ball. 2007/08 broadcast upfront is up nearly 30% year over year. 4q07 national ad sales will be up by 34% compared to 4q06 and the full year national ad sales will be 25% higher than a year ago. Most importantly, we have received the best client feedback we’ve ever had and this translated into extraordinary top line revenue growth.
